Phone Call Method

How to register your phone number for the Phone Call Method.

Select https://aka.ms/mfasetup
Login with your email and password

1 of 2 things will happen.

You will see a prompt that says More information required. Simply click Next.

In the next screen, click on I want to set a different method

If you weren’t prompted for more information and instead came to a screen like this, click Add method

Select Phone from the drop down and click Confirm

Change the calling code to Canada, enter your phone number and select Call me. Click Next once filled out

You will then get a call. Press # to verify and hang up

You will see this on the screen if it was successful

If you have not done so already, you will have to setup an App password. Please enter something you can remember. This is a secondary option to use if you need to change your setup or if you lost your phone.

Just enter any name you’d like

Once completed, you’ll be asked to verify your signin information.
