Replace Text Automatically as you Type (Word/Excel/PP)

Copy a word, phrase or acronym
- Select the File tab à Options à Proofing
- Select AutoCorrect Options à select AutoCorrect tab
- Select the Replace text as you type check box (if it is not already selected)
- Under Replace, type the characters that you want to use for your automatic text
- The text that you selected in your document should appear under With
- Click Add à OK à OK
In your document, type the character you created followed by a space and your substitution will appear!

- Select AutoCorrect Options à select AutoCorrect tab
- Select the Replace text as you type check box (if it is not already selected)
- Under Replace, type the characters that you want to use for your automatic text
- The text that you selected in your document should appear under With
