Cell Phone Travel Plans

Grey County cellular accounts have travel plans activated by default. More information on the details of the plan can be found here: Coverage Map & Travel Options | Bell Mobility | Bell Canada

Please note:

Users will be billed the daily rate if they use any roam features (e.g. a single text, a single phone call, or if their phone connects to the local network and uses any data).
To avoid phone charges, disable roaming on your phone. Alternatively leave the phone in airplane mode and use only WiFi.
Unless pre-approved by your manager for work purposes, you will be responsible for re-imbursing the County. In general, these costs are identified during the monthly billing cycle. Finance will send you an invoice.
If you need access to work resources (email, teams, SharePoint), while travelling outside of Canada or the US, you will need to arrange access with IT. US may be added to the list of excluded Countries in the near future.
Travel plans are not available for people travelling on cruises. Non-covered travel rates apply.
